How should I pick my mangoes? Un-ripe mangoes are green and turn into a orange-red or bright yellow when they are ripe. Luckily, fresh mango season started in May.

How should I store them? If they are unripe, they can be kept at room temperature for a few days until ripened. Ripen ones should be stored in the refrigerator. Bring them back to normal temperature when you are ready to eat them in order to get the natural taste and flavor.
